Today's inaugural ceremonies opened with a bang - literally! At the historical Morro and Cabaña complex across the bay from la Habana Vieja - the Castle of the Three Holy Wise Men of the Morro, and the Fortress of San Carlos de la Cabaña - soldiers in full colonial dress marched in with bagpipe music, and then proceeded to ignite an actual canon on the grounds. What a way to start another day full of exciting art exhibitions around these beautiful, historical buildings.
