Studied Architecture at the University of Chile. His architectural work has lead to exhibitions at the Santiago and Venice biennials in 1985.

Studied and obtained his title as Architect at the University of Chile. Has exercised the profession of architect, which has led him to exhibit different projects on architecture and urban development at the Santiago Biennials and that of Venice, in 1985, invited by the then-director, Aldo Rossi. He participated in the collective showcase , "The drawing in architecture, Chilean and Argentine architects", which took place in Santiago and Buenos Aires in the year 1986. He has edited two books on the subject of the architectural and urban development heritage of the city of Santiago, in conjunction with the architect Cristián Boza and the historian Leopoldo Castedo.

He has carried out Architectural Workshops at the Catholic University of Chile, and currently holds the position of Professor in charge of the Architectura
