(b. Port-au-Prince, Haiti, 1975). Adler Guerrier moved to Miami, Florida at the age of thirteen. He received a BFA from New World School of the Arts, Miami, in 2000.

Guerrier creates multimedia installations, inspired by the urban experience, with sound, photography and video. The subways, downtown streets, and airports are of daily life, yet the artist captures the anticipation of the spaces. In his installation piece, after / for / with (mingus, ellington, mjq), songs by Mingus and Ellington (mjq refers to the Modern Jazz Quartet) are heard while a DVD plays a series of still photographs taken in and around a downtown Miami apartment. Real photographs are displayed on the wall in a grid pattern. Some of his recent works are The Suit Makes the Man, a series of color photographs. The artist is dressed as a businessman walking around at night. Another work is titled, It Was What
