(b. San Salvador, EL Salvador, 1956).
This El Salvadorian sculptor studied in France at the l’École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et Métiers d’Art Duperret and later at the l’École Olvier de Serres, in Paris. His work has won several awards including the 1991 "Jean Monnet" prize at FIAC; The "Jean Hamon " prize at the Sculpture Biennial at Issy-les-Moulineaux, France, and the "Ville de Cagnes-sur-Mer" prize at the Nice Bienal in 1993. His collective exhibitions include: 1992, Sculptors of Latin America, Musée Déspiau-Wlérick, Landes, France; 1993, Art Miami, USA; 2000, Salon of Contemporary Art of Montrouge, Montrouge, France; 2000, Fine Art Fair – Armory Show, New York (USA); 2001, Italian–Latin American Institute, Venice Biennial, Venice Italy.
