(b. La Palma, El Salvador, 1960). This El Salvadorian painter and sculptor won a grant in 1977 from the OAS to study in Cuenca in Ecuador. In 1979 he leaves for Florence, Italy where he studies classical art and restoration. In 1981 he returns to El salvador and begins traveling throughout the Americas and then in Europe. In 1986 he establishes himself in Ingolstadt, Germany where helps establish the artist group "Art Experiment e.V." In 1996 he helps establish the School of Fine Arts "Kunst in Bewegung" (Art in Movement). His collective exhibitions include: 1993, 1995, 1997 Venice Biennials, Italy; Fixed Signals, 1999, Archeological Museum, Kelhiem, Germany. His solo exhibitions include: 1986 Pachamama – Madre Tierra, Ingolstadt, Nuremberg, Bonn, Germany; 1996 La Sindone di Torino, Installation in the Ingolstadt Cathedral, Germany; 2001, Italian–Latin American Institute, Venice Biennial, Venice Italy.
