(b. Washington DC, USA, 1956). This American born Ecuadorian painter moved to Rome in 1969 for three years to study painting under Eraldo Mori Cristiani. He later enrolls at the Central University in Quito, Ecuador and graduates with a degree in Fine Arts in 1981 and Architecture in 1982. He returns to Italy and studies design and architecture at the CNR in Florence in 1984. He wins first prize at the International Art Competition at the La Papessa Gallery, Rome, 1971 and the gold medal at the Modern Art Festival at the Gallery La Nuova Pesa, Rome in 1972.
