(b. San Juan de la Maguana, Dominican Republic, 1964). This Dominican painter started his artistic training at the Escuela de Bellas Artes in his native city and continues his studies at the Altos de Chavón-La Romana art and design school. In 1997 he was awarded a scholarship to study at Parsons School of Design in New York and graduated Cum Laude in fine arts and illustration. Some of his collective exhibitions include: 1987, New York for Social Research, New York; 1993, Carribean Gallery, New York; Art Miami ’94, Miami (USA); 2001, Italian–Latin American Institute, Venice Biennial, Venice Italy. His solo exhibitions include: 1993, Latinoamerican Art Museum, Miami (USA); 1999, Museo de Arte Moderna, Santo Domingo.
