(b. Moca, Dominican Republic, 1941). This Dominican painter and muralist sudied under the tutalage of Prof. Poncio Salcedo. Greatly influenced by the work of art critic Aída Cartagena, he exhibits his first works in 1968 at the Instituto Cultural Americano (ICDA). In recent years his work have been mural commissions, many dealing with the contemporary and historical national story, myths, symbols as well as the conquest and the African/Andean tradition.
