(b. La Paz, Bolivia, 1959).
This Bolivian sculptor, painter and jewelry maker attended the School of Fine Arts in La Paz and later worked under Antonio Santos López and learned metal work. She later attended Karen Wiethüchter’s jewelry school and finally the Álvarez Penteado Foundation of Sío Paulo. Her sculptures have been well commissioned and are in collections in Bolivia, Brazil, Perù, Chile, Argentina, U.S., Spain and Germany. Her exhibitions include the following: 1993-99, Centro Culturale Taipinquiri, La Paz; 1997, Collective "Bolivia Arte", Casa de la Cultura, Santa Cruz (Bolivia); 1998, "Collective Exhibit" at the Euro-American Galleries, New York (USA); as well as a "Collective Exhibit" at the OAS, Washington D.C. (USA); 2000, "I riti delle Ande", Ministerio de la Cultura, La Paz; 2001, International Venice Biennial, Venice, Italy.
