(b. Santa Rita, Copan, Honduras, 1927; d.1978) He was a ceramicist and painter. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts and from the Superior Institute of Ceramics in Faena, Italy. He was head of the Ceramic department at the School of Fine Arts and founded the Arte Lumar Studio, where he exhibited collections and solo shows. In 1958, he won the gold medal at the Grand Artist show at Monza with his painting, Mujer Joven con Sombrero. He painted close to fifteen paintings with mixed mediums and began five mural projects that were never carried out. As a painter he portrays a neofigurative style that take an appearance of Egyptian figures, especially when he deals with animals.
