(b. Juticalpa, Honduras, 1946). In 1979 Burchard participated in the Mitos and Magias Biennial in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He also participated in several exhibitions in the Americas and Europe. Burchard has worked with acrylics and oils, although he believes that the latter did not coincide with his artistic personality. He uses a wide variety of colors, predominantly blue, red and brown, and his brushstrokes are smooth and hardly visible. His style varies between the Expressionist, Impressionist, Magic Realism, and the Neo-figurative.
