(b. Lima, Peru, 1947). Llona studied architecture at the national engineering university in Lima (1966-1978) and attended the Pratt Institute in New York (1981). He received a Fulbright Scholarship in 1977 and a Ford Studio Grant in 1978, both from the Pratt Institute. He paints abstract works with fauve-like coloring.
